Content Policy

Last updated August 13, 2026

Taongaf is built to let creators publish and readers connect with as few gatekeepers as possible. This Content Policy sets the boundaries that keep that possible — it applies to everything published on the Platform, including editorials, books and chapters, wall posts, comments and messages.
1

What's welcome here

Taongaf welcomes text, audio, video and PDF content across genres and formats — journalism, fiction, essays, serialized books, community discussion and everything in between. Strong opinions, difficult subjects and mature themes are allowed; how you present them is what this policy governs.

2

Prohibited content

The following is never allowed on Taongaf, regardless of format or context:

  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form
  • Non-consensual intimate content, or content that sexualizes real people without their consent
  • Content that incites violence, or credible threats against a person or group
  • Hate speech targeting people based on protected characteristics
  • Harassment, doxxing or coordinated abuse of another user
  • Content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark
  • Malware, phishing links, or content designed to defraud readers
  • Spam, or content designed purely to manipulate token spend or Hustle commissions
3

Mature content

Adult themes, violence and mature language in fiction or journalism are permitted where they serve the work, but content should be described accurately so readers know what they're opening. Explicit sexual content intended primarily to arouse rather than to serve a narrative or editorial purpose isn't currently supported on the Platform.

4

Priced content

If you're charging tokens for your work, it needs to match what it claims to be — a priced chapter should contain the chapter, not a paywall around near-empty content. Misrepresenting priced content to extract token spend is a violation of this policy and our Terms of Service.

5

Reporting and moderation

Every wall post, comment and piece of content can be reported directly from its "..." menu. You can also block or hide content from a specific user without reporting them. Reports are reviewed and may result in content removal, account restrictions, or — for repeated or severe violations — account termination.

We aim to act on clear violations quickly, but moderation is a judgment call and we won't always get it right the first time. If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, contact us.

6

Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may remove individual content, restrict specific features (like publishing or messaging), suspend an account temporarily, or terminate it outright. Fraudulent activity involving tokens, Hustle commissions or payouts is treated as a severe violation.

7

Changes to this policy

As the Platform and its community grow, this policy may be updated to address new situations. We'll post changes here with a new "Last updated" date.
